My daughter Burke has been playing for 16 months. Tonight on the 9th hole at The Heights Golf Club in Rancho Bernardo, she made her first Ace! It was 136 yards with a 24 degree hybrid. As it was dusk, we could not see the ball. She insisted it was on the green. As we pulled up, it was nowhere to be found. After looking short eight and left, we saw a ball mark 10 feet below the hole. I went to look in the hole, and there it was. I yelled and saw my daughter running down to the green. What a moment it was for her... Loved seeing her first look in the hole to see the ball. Just such satisfaction for her at that moment. Watching her reach down and pull the ball out of the hole was so amazing. She uses Titleist Tour Speed and she isn't likely to change anytime soon.
