Been Golfing for roughly 10 years.. 8hcp. I live in a Private, Executive (Par 66) Country Club for 6 years now - Pine Island Ridge in Davie, FL. Course has 8 Par 3's, 8 Par 4's, 2 Par 5's.. all holes are spaced throughout the neighborhood. I have maybe played this course close to 1000 times.. no exaggeration.

I live on the 9th hole, a 140 Yard Par 3 - and every time we approach the 9th hole, a buddy in my golf group will joke and say, "Ok, now time to hit a hole-in-one, so Bob has to look out in his backyard and see the hole everyday." Knowing if that were to happen... I'd probably move/sell my house. Lol.

Well this past Sunday, 2/2/2025, as we approached the 9th hole, the joke was made and I immediately had to be the 1st to hit on the 9th tee. For a few seconds after hitting my shot, time stood still, my pitching wedge was heading right for the pin, and it took ONE HOP & FOUND THE HOLE. My first ace! My mother/grandmother were outside in the back patio, saw it go in, and started cheering - it felt like Tiger's Ace at Waste Management. Best Moment Ever. And of course it was a PROV1X with a T200 Pitching Wedge!
