We had a tee time on 4/23/2025 at TPC SCOTTSDALE. This was a guys golf trip. I’m from West Monroe, LA we was having an amazing day at the course checking out where all the grandstand had been on the course for the Waste Management Tournament a few months prior. As we made our way to the infamous 16th hole par 3. It was my turn to tee it up as the first on the box. I shot the yardage and it was 119 with a slight breeze at my back, I selected a 9 iron, as I was standing over the ball, before I swung “I thought to myself wouldn’t it be crazy if one of made a hole in one” BUT I did not say it out loud as to not jink anyone. I took one smooth swing and I knew right away it was a great hit it was tracking for the flag, the Titleist ProV 1 I was playing hit the front edge of the green and rolled about 4 feet and fell right in the cup! It was AWESOME we hollered and was all jumping around and the group that had just started to drive off stopped and looked back and the group behind us on a hole was in shock as well. They all shouted did you just hole it out! We all said where are all the fans to shower us with beverages. LOL THIS was my 2nd hole in one (17 years apart) but this one was the MOST ENJOYABLE AND MEMORABLE by far.
