Sometimes golf has a funny way of turning your day around.

I was grinding through a rough round at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, LA—frustrated, missing shots, and not exactly lighting up the scorecard. We got to Hole 5, a 148-yard par 3, and I decided to switch it up. Borrowed my buddy’s wedge, reached into my bag, and pulled out a ball I had just found in the woods on the previous hole. A Titleist AVX with “Wayda Minute” sharpied on the side.

No expectations—just hoping to get it on the green.

But the swing felt pure. The ball took off straight, landed soft, and started tracking. One hop, a little roll, and… gone. Straight in.

The group went nuts. I went from struggling through the round to celebrating a moment I’ll never forget—all thanks to a borrowed club, a lucky found ball, and a Titleist AVX.
