The 175 yds par 3 hole was on the South course and is the signature hole of MountainGate Country Club, overlooking the coastline and mountains. The pin was in the front middle part of the green. With a club up of face wind, I hit a 6 iron pure and flush and faded it in from the left short of the hole. After I hit it, I thought it was a bit long but I think the wind took it down a bit and it landed short, took 2 bounces and rolled into the cup! My buddy tracked it the whole way as I took my eyes off it briefly and started screaming and jumping saying I holed it!! I then jumped/screamed right after and a foursome on another green close to our tee box noticed, looked up and started clapping for me! Me and my buddy celebrated for a couple seconds hugging one another and the cart girl and group ahead of us was also happy that I got it. I walked up to the green and took couple pictures to commemorate the 2nd in a lifetime occasion!
