I got my 3rd hole in one today at Ventura CC using a 50 degree Vokey SM10 wedge. It was hole #9 and the first hole we weren’t waiting on the group in front of us. So I felt slightly rushed, checked arccos at 115 to center and grabbed my gw, thinking I’ll just keep the pace moving. It was on a great line, just right of the flag with a slight draw. It landed, took one bounce and disappeared. I dropped the club and raised my arms in disbelief. The perfect shot. Moments like these are why we play and I’ve had three, each one a special memory I will have forever. My first was with a Titleist ball and now I have one using a Titleist club. Seems like a trend.
