Hello Titleist,

My good friend, Kevin, and I were playing 18 yesterday and I was lucky enough to score a hole in one on a par three. We were playing at the Mill Creek South course in Boardman, Ohio, and I was in the midst of an all-time round (on pace to shoot 105). We arrived at hole 7, a 170-yard par three, and I was feeling a little weak because I hadn't eaten my Wheaties yet. I reached for my five iron, but Kev stopped me and said, "you don't need all that club, Dante, grab your six.", and I responded with a resounding "no doubt". I followed through about 70% through my swing, in an attempt to control the ball (something that I have never done before). The ball smacked on the green and rolled right into the hole. I sprinted from the tee box to the green and my eyes hadn't deceived me; the ball was right where I left it.

I played the worst golf of my life after that, but I'll never forget the rush of putting the ball in the hole in one shot. I fully expect to consistently get hole in one's now, so anything less will be a disappointment to me.
