I got my first hole in one today using my Titleist TSR1 driver on hole 15 at Stonebrae Country Club in Hayward, CA during our annual women’s member-member tournament, The Poppy. We played from the orange tee box on this hole and it was 138 yards into a slight breeze with a carry of about 120 yards. This hole in one was extra special because the last two weeks have been full of stress from my skin graft surgery on my right temple due to skin cancer 10 days before, to my dog being hospitalized for pancreatitis and needing an emergent bladder stone surgery, and my mother in law getting an angiogram and two stints placed both of which happened during the first day of this tournament.

Needless to say, this hole in one was the cherry on top of good reports from all 3 operations! My tournament partner and I tied for 3rd in the tournament and it was fun to celebrate my first hole in one with all my golf buddies.
