I'm 76 years old and been playing golf for 50 plus years. I retired in 2019 and have been playing 100 plus rounds per year during my retirement. I finally made my first HIO in August 2024 at age 75. Then 10 months later I made my second HIO on the same hole at my home course, just different Pin placement. My first was 95 yards with a Pitching Wedge. The second was 72 yards with a Gap Wedge. In each case I was playing with my regular group of retiree buddies and had plenty of witnesses. I tried to buy drinks each time but only bought a coke and a Gatorade. Oh Well! Exciting times nonetheless.
