My friend told me to log my story here after he recently got a hole in one and got some sweet Titleist swag!

Since this hole in one happened so long ago (but still feels like last week) I wasn't sure... but I thought why not.. I would love a bag tag for my bag and a certificate to go in my golf corner!!

It was a picture-perfect day at Kellys Golf Centre, N. Ireland, when I stepped up to the 6th hole - “Kellys Creek” – a tricky little par-3 at just 102 yards. I teed off and watched my shot sail toward the green. It looked good in the air but landed hard and rolled off the back… or so I thought.

I was already slightly disappointed, thinking I’d have a tough chip back on. But my playing partner kept watching and suddenly said "I think that's in, man!"

I said "no surely not, its off the back?!". He said no.... so I (literally) sprinted down to the green, heart racing – and sure enough, there it was looking up at me. In the hole. A hole-in-one!

I don’t even remember which club I hit... everything after that was a blur. All I know is, I’ll never forget that feeling. First ace... and 14 years later I am still waiting for my second. I will not give up trying.
