After 40+ years of playing countless rounds of golf all over the world, I finally had my first hole in one on Friday, June 20th at North Hempstead Country Club in Port Washington, New York.
It was on the par 3 17th hole which was 195 yards on the ground from the black tees, playing into the wind. Using a Titleist ProV1 I hit a 22-degree 4 rescue club which was drawing in right to left, bounced in front of the green and rolled on. We didn't know it went in the cup until we got to the green and couldn't find the ball - and the rest is history!
