Played in our Annual 4th of July tournament called Clubs and Coolers. It was started on n 1995. Losing team has to drink a bottle of fighting *** whiskey. Everyone just tries to not lose. Was playing against my brothers team and with 2 of my best high school buddies and we just birdied the 4th hole at Emporia Golf Course. Drove to the par 3 Fifth hole and asked for yardage. Someone said 205. Wind was blowing in and didn’t hesitate. Grabbed the driver and told them I just need it to fade a little. Hit it really well and everyone started to yell the standard “get in the hole”. It looked really close but it wasn’t until we were at the green that we could see it was wedged in the hole against the flagstick and half the ball was still visible. It was surreal to celebrate with 7 close friends including one of my brothers
