It was so exciting playing in the William B Greene East TN Amateur tournament held July 4-6, 2025, at Elizabethton Club in Elizabethton, TN. The Lopez flight played match play and on the 3rd hole, I made my first ace! It was 107 yards uphill a little and I was between clubs. I choked the 8-iron and sent it straight at the pin. It landed, rolled a couple feet and hit the pin and in! I’ve had many close calls including a “hit the pin and bounce out” one so I was very excited!! Not sure how I made par on the next hole cause I was shaking like a leaf.
