The first round ever of being a new member at PCC. I was playing Pinehurst No3 for the second time. When we got to the tee the Marshall asked if any of use were going to get a hole in 1 today. I said “yes sir” and told the marshall to watch. So he went to the top hill on hole 12 196 yards. My dad it first and he flew the green. When I went to hit I hit a choked down 5 iron and absolutely flushed it. The entire way the ball was tracking. It hit the green and just disappeared. Since the home is on top of a hill we couldn't see it. All of us thought it didn’t go in because the Marshall didn’t say anything so we drove up and he was no where to be seen. We couldn’t find the ball and we looked into the hole and it ball was there. So pretty much called my first hole in 1.
