My partner and I were playing in the finals of the RTJ Wellness Senior Match Play at the Lethbridge Country Club on August 19, 2025. We lost the match 2 and 1 but I made my hole in one on the 16th hole of the day; hole 7, 141 yards, hit an 8 iron and the ball went in the hole. I didn’t see it but two of the guys in our group both said that the ball disappeared. I have had many close calls in the past, so I said I would believe it when I saw my ProV1 in the hole. When we got to the green there was nothing close to the hole, so I checked and sure enough there my ball was resting at the bottom of the cup next to the flag! I yelled “YAHOO” as loud as I could. What a fantastic day, one I will never forget!!
