Pin was located left side bottom tier and my thought was to play a high draw and land the ball towards the middle of the green to leave an easy putt. I swung and felt great contact and watched the ball fly and curve towards the direction of the flag. I immediately stated to my dad that I "stuck it close" but unfortunately, I lost sight of the ball as it flew into the path of the sun + the reflection of the water from the lake made it difficult to see the green. I closely kept eye on the green and saw within a few seconds what was my ball landing just a few feet past the pin and creating a pitch mark. I knew my ball had spin on it and watched to see if it rolled down towards the hole, but I was unable to see the ball. We went up to the green without knowing what happened and I thought it had spun off the green. To my surprise, I went to fix the pitch mark then walk to the front of the green to find my ball and while I passed the hole, I saw my Titleist AVX at the bottom of the cup facing me!
