On July 28, 2025 at TPC River Highlands, I experienced my first ever Hole in one using a Titleist TRUFEEL ball! It was at the Movember Fundraiser Golf Tournament put on by Tilcon Construction company in CT. I got invited from Jay the GM of Mount Southington to play in their foursome. It was hole 5 which was the drink hole, beat the pro hole and if you get a hole in one you win a free trip to Hawaii. The LPGA Player Anna Berman was the pro to beat and she stuck one about 10ft from the pin on the green. It was from the white which was 179 yards. I was the last in our group to go and I almost hit my 5 iron, but decided I had a better chance choking down on my 7 Wood and not taking a full swing. I hit it and it was pin seeking, landed about 6 feet in front of the pin, bounced and landed in the hole! We thought it was an ace but I wanted to be 100% sure before celebrating so we jumped in the carts and got to the green to confirm it was an ace! For my first hole in one to be at a course like TPC River Highlands supporting the amazing work Movember does for men, beating the pro and winning a free trip to Hawaii was a dream come true! Becuase it had a free trip on the line they got it on video and made an instagram post out of it. Amazing!
