I have never had a hole in one until 2/11/2026 on the 17th hole of the Tradition golf course at Ibis Golf and Country Club. It was a red pin 107 yards away and I used a 52 degree PXG wedge. The hole location seemed to go away to the left and away to the right so I decided on a straight shot at the flag. One bounce and into the hole. Witnesses were Sully Sullivan, Glenn Davis and Daryl Tompkin. It was a very exciting moment as we actually could see it. Finally I am a member of the hole in one club. I have a double eagle (albatross) when I was much younger and longer and that has been my salvation as all of my friends appear to have had one or more hole in one, but it was a thrill to finally join them.
