The front 9 of Honey Creek is relatively easy, while the back really tests your golf game. Making the turn at +12, meant I needed a lot of help to break 90. I parred 10 and 11 before a double on 12 set me back again. A 300 yard drive on the par five, set me up for a two putt par and I was back on track. Unfortunately, this quick play caught us up to the foursome in front who offered to let us play through. Par 3. 173 yards. With 7 spectators, I knew my chances of shanking one into the trees on either side were increasing with each pupil. And of course, I had the box. I stepped up with my TM Qi 7i, teed the ball up just a bit to get some loft and let it go. As soon as I sent it I said "Well that's not gonna get there". And it didn't. It took a bounce just before the green, trickled on and disappeared. The crowd (bc there literally was one) went wild. I couldn't believe it.
