I was playing in a tournament recently in Las Vegas and experienced my 3rd hole-in-one and 2nd in the last 8 months. It was the third day of our four day tournament and we were playing at Aliante Golf Club. My special event happened on my very first hole of the day, the 15th, on my very first shot of the day. On this morning I did not hit any practice shots on the range. My only pre-round warmup was hitting a few putts on the putting green. I used a PW from about 105 yards. The shot hit about 4 inches just past the hole, took 1 hop and then spun back into the hole. Boy was the rest of the round very enjoyable!
