I had to take all of last season off due to a broken hand and have been working alot on my game since early January. This past Saturday I shot my personal best round of a 74 which was a huge golf highlight for me. Little did I know that 2 days later I would playing in a charity scramble with my dad and 2 close family friends and do something that would become even more memorable. I walk up to the 14th hole and there was alot of wind so I said I would attempt to hit a low draw in to run it up so we at least have one ball safe. Hit the shot, executed exactly as I hoped, and I started to turn away when everyone started to make a collective "woahhhhhh" and as I turned around I saw the ball drip in and the celebration began! The best part however, was yet to come, as one of the tournament directions on the tee box quickly informed me that I had won $10,000 as well! Truly a once in a lifetime stretch of golf this week.
