On July 21, 2026, my 12-year-old shot a hole in one on the 2nd hole at K’s Creek in Jacksonville, IL. He had no idea until he got to the green and he was looking for the ball that it had gone in! From the tee, there’s a small hill blocking the view of the green. His buddy noticed a divot near the hole, so when they looked inside they all started celebrating the hole-in-one! Their coach came over to get them to quiet down on the course until he realized what they were telling him.

Note: he’s holding 4 clubs because their coach had them select 4 clubs (including putter, but not driver or woods) to take on the course. For the hole-in-one, he used a 6 iron from 126 yards.
