Typical Florida afternoon in the heat of the summer. 90 degrees, high humidity, typical Florida swamp weather. Playing with my two buddies who I always golf with and plan yearly golf trips together. Spent most of the chase chasing balls. Because of the heat, have not practiced or played in 5 weeks and didn’t have time before the round to hit some practice balls. Went in completely cold. We get to the 17th hole par 3. I’m the first to tee off. Use my 48 degree PW. Lined up my shot and hit it super clean. Looking at my ball, looking at the pin back and forth, I knew it would be close. Takes one bounce and the ball just disappeared!! The boys and I couldn’t believe it. Drive to the pin and there it is at the bottom of the cup.
