  1. Do Titleist tour players use th esame surefit system foung on retail drivers? How do most of them have the drivers set up in regard to face angle and lie?

  2. Team Titleist Staff

    Hi Mark.

The Titleist 910 drivers used on the worldwide professional tours are the same clubs available at retail. Accordingly, the SureFit Tour hosels are also the same, which allows you the opportunity to get your swing dialed in to your Titleist 910 driver just like the tour pros.

Titleist authorized fitters around the world are now able to perform the same type of precision fitting you would get from the Titleist Tour Van.

In general, golfers' SureFit Tour hosel settings are wide-ranging.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Nick Watney, for example, plays a Titleist 910D3 10.5º driver set at B•2 (standard loft, +.75 upright) to help him hit the high draw that he prefers.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Geoff Ogilvy plays a 910D3 8.5º set at A•3 (+1.5º more loft, +1.5º upright), which makes it easy for him to hit a draw but also allows him to fade the ball when necessary. (Geoff spoke to Team Titleist in great detail about his driver setup, which you can watch at this link.)

The list goes on and on...

    Hope that helps.
