    Switched to Futura X this winter and haven’t had too much time with it yet. Any tips or suggestions for someone going from a blade putter to the Futura? Is there anything I should focus on differently to improve?

    Three key points when making a change; practice, practice, practice. A tip from the pro at the course where you play would not hurt. Have him check you stance and setup.

    Blades typically have a more in to out (generally speaking) stroke while mallets have a SBST (straight back and straight through) stroke...

    Honestly, the most important part is to let the putter’s balance dictate the arc of the stroke. Every style will have a different path that the putter wants to travel on. Let the putter open and close like it wants to. The worst thing you can do is try to force the path into an arc that the putter want meant to produce.
