    I have been researching the Phantom 11 phantom and the 11 long. I continue to think 38" long Phantom would allow more practice and saving the back. Any advice!°

    It's just a counter balanced putter. Don't see how it will help with any back issues you might have.

    While that may be true (albeit it will be much heavier), you could order a longer standard putter (36" or so...) put lighter weights in it and achieve a similar end goal IMHO.
