This has been going on for years and years....almost since Ebay became a "thing". Accept it and move on...unfortunately, I am just as disappointed as you. I focus now on Titleist bags since they are actually more functional (pockets, dividers etc...) and look great IMHO.

BTW, If you attend SC events (Japan, etc....) you are usually given a chance to purchase a bag.

As far as the number released there has been speculation for years on this but the fact is the bags sell out quickly so the number must not be too high given the demand over the years for them. Cart bags and Staff Bags by SC do not sell as well sometimes compared to walking bags so that may be an opportunity to pick something up in the future.
