  1. Scotty Cameron that is getting sold online. I’m worried that it might be a fake. If anybody would help me out with their input, I would really appreciate it! Thanks.

Id say definitely fake. Milling, color, finish, font is all off.

Checked the archives of previous models and that resembles the 2023 Newport 2+. You can go to previous models on the site at the bottom and compare the two. Me, have never purchased any club online because of all the fakes being sold there.

Also that isn’t the grip or headcover that came with that putter.

    New or used?
If new, less than $350? (When too good to be true, it isn’t)
Shipped and delivered within the US?
Was the seller an authorized Titleist dealer? (ie. 2nd swing and Global Golf while resellers are new dealers as well)
Does the seller have a full replacement guarantee if not authentic?

Garage based resellers do not have the ability to authenticate equipment. Many counterfeits are hard to tell visually - they’re getting better at it. Always best to have an acceptable chain of custody to confirm authenticity or have the seller full replacement guarantee.

It is really difficult to get 100% accuracy from photos posted on line. Best to do due diligence prior to the purchase. If you call Titleist with the serial number, they may have some information about that club.
