im going with the Black Hero 4.. Shouldn't be an issue as long as you don't slow up play.. Good luck.

I'm thinking of trying it too. Which strap do you use. I assume either chest or head...or the cap clip. Does it bother you at all when you swing? Just wondering. I will also use with a mount on my golf bag for practicing on the range to analyze swing and a cart mount for taking full-on videos while on the course. I am looking at the Hero 4 Silver. I'd install the phone app so I could control it remotely while standing over the ball as well as be able to see on my iPhone screen what the camera sees. I can't believe I don't see more people out there using these. Or is it just that they might be a distraction for your game....like everything else is?

I have uss mine several time to record my swing. I have used the suction cup to attach it to the cart and I have also mounted it to my push cart. I just used the App on my phone to make sure the angle is right and hit record, take my swing and stop it. 

Oh please stay off the golf course with those things.  Keep it on the range if you must.

I just bought the Hero 3+ Silver. Best buy had a great bundle package for Black Friday. I'm definitely going to be bringing to the course to practice with and to record my buddies and I having fun.

Hopfully getting one for christmas! Really want one for golf and need to film a recruting video for college

Yeah, I would be very interested to see what you guys find out about how these things work on the golf course.

I have used mine on the course and put a video together. It was actually the first video I put together with it.

It is fun using it and fun going back looking at all of the angles used. The only thing is, after the first go with it, you see what angles work and what do not.

I used it for every shot for me and my buddy and I ran out of batter on the 17th green.

If anyone makes a vid, post it up! I would love to see it and see what other angles are being used!

I actually use the Sony Action Cam (AS15). I don't believe the image quality is quite as good as the GoPro, but I can still record at 120fps in 720p for swing analysis. I got it from B&H (www.bhphotovideo.com) for $150 a while back and they always seem to have some great deals on them. If you don't have the money for a GoPro, check out the Sony Action Cam. I love it!
