  1. Bob Vokey at the Short Game Experience

    What. A. Week!

I can honestly say that last week was definitely one of the highlights of my time here at Titleist. We had 32 Team Titleist members join us for an amazing two days down at Pinehurst that featured short game insight from the one and only Bob Vokey, followed by wedge fittings (and some more bonus time with The Voke), golf ball fittings, FJ shoe fittings, test drives with the all new Scotty Cameron Phantom X putters on Thistle Dhu, prototype golf ball testing, and did I mention multiple loops around The Cradle … and that was just day one.

Sounds jammed packed but for golf fanatics like us, it was a dream day of golf.

Day Two featured a round on the newly redesigned Pinehurst No. 4 and it was an absolute treat for the group. The weather was perfect and the course was amazing.

If you joined us at the Team Titleist Invitational back in 2016 and haven’t been back to Pinehurst since then… you need to get back there. Gil Hanse has crafted another masterpiece with the new No. 4 layout. Put this course on your must play list immediately.

Again, it was an awesome week and it was so great to spend time with Team Titleist. It’s always great to catch up with familiar faces and meet some new friends. Thank you to everyone who joined us and if you didn’t make the trip this time, I hope to see you at a future event!

Here are a few photos from the event:

It was truly an epic event to attend Mike. Not sure you could've planned that any better and meeting Mr. Vokey was the highlight for me.

Attending a TT event never disappoints, I've enjoyed them all and hope to attend more.

    Thank you Mike.

Thanks Mike! Your were a great host, as usual. You did a great job of coordinating, especially given the recent staffing impact to your team. Had a blast! The activities were great and being a smaller group gave us more opportunities to interact with fellow TT'rs. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the big TTI in Kohler and would love to get to a few more of these smaller, specialized outings in the future.

As this was my first Team Titleist event, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. What I found were a great group of guys that love golf and appreciate the Titleist brand. This was a first class event and obviously well thought out and planned by Mike and his team.

The entire Titleist team onsite was welcoming and patient. I never felt rushed going from the shoe fitting, to the ball fitting to the wedge fitting and finally to the short game practice area for a few tips - thanks Bubba!

And what can I say about Pinehurst, what a tremendous facility. #4 was pristine and a fun course to play, one day I'll return to cross #2 off the list.

Glad I took the plunge, I look forward to future Team Titleist events!

These events get posted in the discussion forums, but these events are generally limited to 80 players - the limit for a single golf course for a shotgun start. The concierges normally hint ahead of time. It also pays to be on Facebook and Twitter and ask to belong to the Titleist group - the announced link goes to all the platforms. Many events have filled up day 1. This year's Team Titleist event is at Whistling Straits is in August, but has only a waiting list now.
They have gone to bucket list venues like Pinehurst, TPC Sawgrass, and Kiawah Island. They are great team building programs and come with some really nice swag, but the resort fees are not deep discounted. They constantly review the programs, so what was offered this year may not be what they do next year. Other than fill quickly.

Wayne, the notification went to all on this site on January 8th and filled up by the end of the day, I believe.

Looks like an incredible time - I really hope more events like this come sooner rather than later - need to start saving my pennies!

One of the items in the swag bag arrived yesterday (White FJ Tour S). Wore them this morning. And for the gentleman (Wayne S) asking about how to find out about these events. They are well publicized on this site in advance so that all have a chance, but you have to be fast in most cases because they fill up fast. You have to stay active. This one had a long waiting list. This one for instance cost $850 and you paid your own travel for the two day event. Well worth it with all the swag and the biggie, meeting Mr Vokey and getting fit for a wedge by him and his team. What an event.

  16. It was my first Team Titleist event and it was more than I expected. Everything was done in a highly professional manner and all involved rate a giant OORAH

  17. Looks like an amazing event. Wish I could have joined. What a day to have Mr.Vokey out to pick his brain on the wedge game.

Would be absolutely wonderful if one TT event could somehow come to the New England area for all us Northerner's!
Not really begging, but asking nicely....LOL!
  19. Glad to see some of the swag starting to arrive , I will be keeping an eye out for deliveries

It was a fantastic experience - and having the chance to speak with the legend was amazing as well. Can't wait for the next one! Well done to Mike and the entire TT Team who planned this event - keep 'em coming!
  21. Has anyone besides Chuck Z received their shoes or wedge?

Got my shoes a couple of week's ago and the wedge last week. Both were standard items so that probably sped up the process.
  23. Got an email from Mike and some shoes are on back order and wedges should be received in the next week or two.

Now I have to run home every day. The shoes came about 2 weeks ago (in Madison) so maybe the wedge will be any day if it left CA with greg's.

Mine is showing an arrival date of this week Thursday (5/16). I am signed up for FedEx delivery manager, so I got an email alerting me that a package from Titleist was on the way.
