    I received this today

    Dear Richard,

You have been selected to participate in a survey about golf equipment, including what's in your bag. This survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

Upon completion, you will be able to enter a sweepstakes for the chance to be one of ten winners of 1 dozen premium golf balls.

Thank you in advance for your time and feedback!

    Take The Survey

    Only to find this message

Please note, the sweepstakes at the end of this survey is intended only for those located in the United States & District of Columbia at the time of entry. Thank you.

Why send me this offer of entering a sweepstake when I live in Cambridgeshire U.K.

    Has anyone else received similar

I have noticed this also. Its a real shame that we have very few sweepstakes in the UK.

I'm sure the team at Titleist must have a few spares bits and bobs that are just sitting there unloved, that we TT members would love to own.

    Come on TT UK !!

I find it a bit interesting, when there is a UK sweepstakes and the items are unique, the US population complains and/or they think there are not enough opportunities too. I would say, per capita, the opportunities are pretty close to equal given the population differences and no matter how often they occur, some people will still want more. Just the nature of the situation.

I agree with Dale, but my issue is why send me details to enter when I’m in the UK.

Probably a system glitch. Double check your profile that the address is showing your correct UK country listing by hitting the little edit pencil on the right side under profile. You probably have it correctly listed so forgive me for suggesting otherwise. Also emails with a .com, .us, .gov, or .net extension will not filter by country so you could be on an email list that does not recognize your profile address. Sorry, this probably was not helpful at all but I tried. If I ever get back over there, I'll buy you a pint for your trouble (and maybe bring a few goodies with me too). Cheers.

    Understood Dale
Hopefully I’ll be able to take you up on your offer.

I'm guessing the Titleist email database doesn't discern if the email address is associated with a specific country. I have friends who once lived in the US and have since moved to a different country and they still use the same email address that they had when then lived in the US.
  9. What's even better is that you fill out the sweepstake, then the site lags out, and you lose what you did and it doesn't save.
