  1. I arrived home to find a sleeve of Titleist balls to review.

    Thank you TT.

Those are always nice little surprises...another reason to golf more, not that's it's needed ;-)

Be sure and follow up by sending in your review of the balls. Titleist uses that data. That is the thanks they need. Enjoy your test. Cheers. =)

I always like getting these in the mail. Testing balls is my favorite thing to do, especially the short game with a number of OEM's balls

I don't understand why people are "thanking" Titleist for sending test balls, or why you get congratulated when you receive them. Having received test balls a few times myself, I don't think you realize the tremendous amount of pressure and responsibility placed on the receiver. Forced to cancel important tasks like yard work, window washing, cleaning up the garage, painting the fence, etc. to schedule a round of golf to test new golf balls for Titleist. Cancel is the wrong word, as when I get back from my important and unavoidable work for Titleist, I am still expected to complete those tasks at home.

    Damn you Titleist. Damn you.....

Hilarious!!! I keep hoping to find a surprise myself so I can make those very necessary sacrifices.

Awesome! What a nice surprise it is when this happens! Be sure to go out and test away an then answer their questions so you can possibly do this again!

I've played the AVX since it first came out. I found the blend of lower ball flight and less driver spin to be a better fit for my game than the V1 and V1X. Despite some of the reviews from MGS and others, I don't feel like I lose that much distance off the driver (probably because I have a higher spin loft than I should) and the distance off the irons is better.

I received a box of the prototype AVX's to test and I actually didn't like them as much as the previous versions. To me they felt firmer and "clicky-er" than the prior models.
