Hey Team Titleist!
Masters week is here and a few of Team Titleist’s own rising stars are in the field. From their first stay in the famed Crow’s Nest to their opening tee shot Thursday, these Masters first-timers are continuing on the tournament’s rich amateur history.
All seven of the amateurs competing this week at Augusta are playing a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball, with five of them trusting Titleist equipment throughout the bag.

Bexley, AUS
Harrison Crowe booked his ticket to Augusta with his victory at the 2022 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship title, executing a spectacular up-and-down for par on the final hole to win by one shot. The 21-year-old arrives in Georgia with five wins and 10 top-10 finishes since 2021. Along with his AAC title, he also collected victories last year at the Australian Master of the Amateurs and the New South Wales Amateur.

Gordon Sargent
Birmingham, AL
Receiving a special invitation to the 2023 Masters, 19-year-old Gordon Sargent is the No. 1 ranked amateur in the world. The Vanderbilt University sophomore capped off a freshman campaign for the books by winning the 2022 NCAA Individual National Championship. The Birmingham, Ala., native was named SEC Freshman of the Year, a Haskins Award Finalist, and First Team All-American. At the John Hayt Invitational in February, Sargent, now a sophomore, claimed his fourth collegiate title with a 15-under-par effort, making 19 total birdies along with an eagle at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

Currently in his fifth year at Georgia Southern, Ben Carr earned his invitation to the 2023 Masters after making it to the finals at last summer's U.S. Amateur. The Georgia native arrives at Augusta with 20 top-10 finishes over the last two years, including a win at the 2021 Southeastern Amateur. Carr recently won Georgia Southern’s home tournament, the Schenkel Invitational.
