A Scotty in my future

    Hi TT:

    After several range sessions, I finally dialed in my TSi2, T100S and Vokeys. They were really humming Sunday. Hit 9 greens but only made 1 out of 10 putts from inside 10 ft. and added a couple of 3 putts. I can only dream of how much better my 80 could have been. I have been stubbornly sticking to the only non-Titleist club in my bag; a png I have had for years. My version of the Billy Baroo, but this one has lost its magic. Heading to my first putter fitting this week to pick out a new Scotty and have Titleist in the bag from top to bottom.

    Like many of us “vintage” golfers, I too started out with a png back in the 80’s but transitioned into Scotty’s putters in the 90’s. As the solid balls have become firmer, the Scotty’s just feel better to me. Wishing you many future 1-putts with the new putter!

    I have a love/hate relationship with my Scotty Newport 2 and am currently gaming a Spider Tour X. It's the only non-Titleist club in my bag but I have a much higher degree of confidence versus my Scotty. I've been wanting to get a putter fitting for a Scotty Mallet type putter for quite some time. I could be persuaded.
