Hey Team Titleist, we need your help!

Later this week, we’re filming a podcast with the Titleist irons team, and we’d love for them to answer questions directly from Team Titleist members.

If you have questions about New T-Series Irons—fitting, performance, blended sets, player testing, or anything else you would like to know—please drop them in the comments below. We’ll select a handful to feature on this podcast.

We want to make this conversation grounded in what you are most curious about, so your questions will go a long way.

We’re looking forward to seeing what you want us to ask!

  2. I love the fact that the finish on the irons doesn't change from set to set anymore. I have a blended T200/T150 set and that's thing about the new irons that has me leaning towards upgrading. What are the performance upgrades in the T250's over the T200's? I struggle to hit my 4 and 5 irons even though they are the more forgiving T200's.

What change/new tech are they most excited about with the new irons?

What was the hardest part about trying to improve on the previous irons?

    Just a couple of questions,

When can we get fitted for the new irons?

I currently have T300’s and my handicap is getting lower. I would want to get fitted and thinking T250’s / T150’s would be the mix. Are the new irons more forgiving than the prior ones?

Though I have only seen them in pictures, is there a reason they resemble the Ap2 's of 2018

How do the lofts compare across the series? Are the T250's weaker than the T200? Will the lofts between sets be closer to allow blending sets easier and improve gapping?

What are the gains most professionals are seeing in the 100/150 lines?

Are there any new shaft options?

    That’s all for now.

Launch angle and descent angle are so important when deciding to design to new irons. How did Titleist R&D focus on this while still keeping the irons playable and forgiving?

As new iron technologu is developed, does Titleist recommend a ballfitting as well? As irons progress in their development, I would imagine that the effective spin rate, launch angles, etc... could and will differ from previous models. Is this a good time to assess and marry the optimal ball to the new iron characteristics?

Options on blending would be great to hear, or if the rumored added forgiveness to say t100 longer irons removed the need. Is the t250* lofted to blend in with the t100 or the t150 or both?

I’m t200 4 iron, t150 5/6/7 all std lofts 1 flat, then t100 8 2 strong, t100 9 1 strong, t100 PW and 50 wedge as standard. I prefer the t100 to the 150, but would have liked it to feel more like the 620cb. I do really want to end on a 50 wedge which is my favourite club.

There is a lot of talk both the way lofts have been tweaked in new ones, what are options for someone like me. I will likely stick to a 4 iron with steel shaft but go with the 250 to act as a driving iron when needed. Otherwise I could go all t100 or blend again, would prefer not to have to tweak 8 iron 2 strong, although in fairness the fitting by titleist here in Ireland has worked out pretty well.

What performance changes will the player see in the new T100 and T150?

What is the most notable change from tour players feedback on the new series?

Looking more at the T250 and T350, they have similar visual characteristics compared to prior generations of those irons, what new "tech" does each iron feature which makes them different from each other?

How did the engineers address the sound made by the irons since it appears both will have hollow bodies?

How long have these new designs for the T250/T350 been in development? They seem to have a lot of the previous T-MB look but I am sure, even more refined technology.
  15. Is the new irons changed much from previous generator of irons before i order a set of old compared to the new generation?

I have a set of the 2021 T200 irons, 4-PW, and I love them. I don't love the plastic caps on the back of the irons, I'm wondering if that changes with the new T Series irons that will come to market this year? I also have never had a blended set of irons, if I was to go with a blended set, is the idea to go with a more forgiving iron, ie. T350 in the long irons? and more of a players iron in the 7-PW irons? I've heard people do this and I'm curious as to whether or not it helps significantly. I've never been fit for irons in my life, and thinking about getting fitted for this next generation of T Series irons.
