We’ve seen the buzz around the forums and Facebook Group about the inaugural Team Titleist Cup currently underway in Nova Scotia, so we wanted to give this group the full scoop.

For the first time, we’ve brought together Team Titleist members from the U.S. and Canada for a Ryder Cup-style competition at Cabot Cape Breton—a one-of-a-kind experience set against one of golf’s most spectacular backdrops.

The idea was inspired by our Titleist teams in Asia, where the Team Titleist Asia-Pacific Championship brings together golfers from Japan, Korea, China, and Southeast Asia for an annual competition.

While many Team Titleist experiences take place in the U.S., we’re constantly working with Titleist teams around the globe to make the community more connected and accessible. Whether it’s across provinces or across oceans, the goal remains the same: bring passionate golfers together through the game we all love.

    Team Titleist Cup Update:

We kicked things off with a casual “super team” best ball at The Nest, Cabot’s par-3 short course. The 12-person, team-vs.-team format set the tone for the week—and delivered a TT moment to remember. Team USA’s James Y. stepped up and made a hole-in-one on his very first swing of the competition!

Day one of official match play brought us to the Links Course for a two-person scramble under perfect Canada Day skies. The matches were tight and the performances memorable—bookended by two standout moments: Two women from Team USA battled back from 3 down with 5 to play, birdieing three straight to earn a hard-fought half. In the anchor match, a Canadian father-son duo rolled in a 50-footer on 18 to secure a full point for the home team.

Team USA took a 4½ to 1½ lead into the afternoon—and extended it during the second session, a two-person best ball format. Despite a few wild swings (including teams rallying from 4 down), the Americans held on to win 4 of 6 matches, building a strong 8½ to 3½ advantage.

We’re now into the final day: singles matches are underway, and anything can happen. Weather is starting to creep into the forecast—maybe just the edge Team Canada needs to shake things up and mount a comeback.

We’ll follow up soon with final results and more highlights from what’s already been a special week at Cabot.

What a honor to represent our Team Titleist USA. Players on both sides were great and it was so much fun getting to know some of our friends up north! Hope to see some Team Canada players at future events, either in the USA, Canada, or other international venues. 24 awesome players and thank you captains from both sides for putting this together.

Know you guys are having a blast. Played there with FootJoy as one of their Ambassadors a number of years ago, before joining TT. It was in the fall before the Cliffs opened to the public. I love the Cliffs, a real jewel. They had some awesome beer on site at the bar there. Alexander Keith. Do not know if they still serve it. Great on tap. Titleist marketing was up there at that time filming some promo. Hope everyone plays well and represents their team with honor.

It was an honor to be part of Team USA. I can't say enough good things about all the effort and planning that has gone on to execute a flawless event. From the team kits to the attention to detail, TT members were treated to an experience we will cherish for a lifetime.

Thank you to Titleist staff members Lisa, Allan, Ben and Jackson for giving us an opportunity to meet our wonderful Northern TT counterparts for some good competition (Go Team USA) and most importantly fellowship. Over the years I have attended TT events in amazing locations and one constant has always been the same, it's the company that makes it happen and the people who strengthens my relationship to the brand. I can't wait to see where TT takes this next.

I’m still coming down the excitement this week. It was an extreme honor to represent Team USA, and the bonds we built will never be forgotten. I made some fast friends on Team Canada as well… even if they #cantbeatjesus!

It started with the team kits that were unreal and will be cherished forever! The focus on details, a distinct hallmark of the Titleist brand, was evident from the shirts, to the bags, to the trophies and more! The caddy bibs with our names on them, the range placards with our names, the competition, the Cabot team continually went above and beyond… I could go on and on.

The team chat (thank you Tyler Smith) was very active leading up to the event and Dale and Steve helped us with their knowledge having played Cabot Cape Breton in 2022. We were a bit worried about what kind of weather we would have and even that was amazing with mostly sunny weather except for about an hour on Wednesday morning when the skies turned sketchy…

My caddy, aka Tommy Fleetwood, was stellar all week long! The matches I played were awesome competition - Ryan and Nigel, then John and Iain … followed by a singles match against John! They were great guys, the matches were tight, and the courses were the stars of the show!

The opportunity to represent the USA, and in match play competition is what I have dreamed of. I wanted to show up and do my part, and walked away bookending 1 tie with 2 wins to remain undefeated this week! It was an amazing experience that I will never forget! Thank you Allan, Lisa, and all those at Titleist that make things like this possible! To my teammates, we’re now family for life! Thank you for making this week so special for me and everyone else!

Go USA, Go Titleist… and thank you Jesus! #iykyk #cantbeatjesus

    Happy 4th of July!!!

Like Dale, Abdon and the rest of the team, I was extremely honored, blessed and grateful to have been included and able to represent Team Titleist USA.

The event was very President's Cup worthy! From coordinated apparel kits & bags, name badging at the driving range & on our caddie's bibs, right down to intros on the first tee of each round.

Thank you Team Titleist USA Captains Allan & Lisa and Team Titleist Canada Captains Ben & Jackson - your preparation was impeccable, no detail left unturned, selection of an awe-inspiring location (Cabot Cape Breton) and seamless transitions through events each day. Each side played their hardest because of the care and effort you put into to making it so special!

With all that said, for me, it remains the people that make each of our events so memorable and keep me wanting more. While I've known many of you for quite a while, thank you for adding to our relationship and creating new memories for a lifetime.

"This week...will forever be the greatest experience on a golf course I've ever had" - Ron Trimmer (I couldn't agree more!)

What an absolute honor this was to represent Team Titleist USA, create an entirely new family, play this amazing game and have the absolute time of out lives.

I cannot be more thankful for this opportunity to grow closer to those I knew, and make friends in friendly competition in Canada.

Everyone who put such hard work into this even, Allan and Lisa, The TT Canada Team, the Cape Breton Team, it was clear that this was a ton of work and we are forever grateful!

Wow. These memories will last for the rest of my life.

    Truly Honored.

I have got to do a lot of really cools things in my life both on and off the golf course. Being one of the lucky 12 members of Team USA at this first ever type of event, this by far is the best golf experience I’ve had.

If you have been to TT events before, you are keenly aware as to the level of detail Titleist doles out. I’ve always said for how ever many days, you feel like you are on Titleist staff. U.S. Captains Lisa Maybruch and Allan Blocker put together a team that represented well but in the end became family.

The bonds formed over these past few days will last a lifetime. We came together as individuals, united with a common goal and left as family.

The host site was something out of Scotland. Courses were lined with view after view that could fill your camera roll.

To my competitors up north, pleasure to share this experience with you, so glad to have met you, hope to see you at another event soon.

Who knows if there will be another one and if this time it will be back in the States but for now, I am going to soak it all in. Thankful to be apart of something special like this.
