  1. Played a round of golf yesterday where I shot +19 gross and 3 over my handicap for the comp when looking on MyEG it gives me a score difference of 13.8 but I can’t for the life of me figure out how that works out could anyone shed any light on this as I don’t get it

Beats the heck out of me. I never worry about handicap/net score. We play gross score, modified stapleford points.
  3. The course rating and slope is 73.6/142, which is fairly difficult. The math to calculate a score differential is a pretty straightforward equation of (113 / Slope) x (Adjusted Score - Course Rating). In this case, that is (113 / 142) x (91-73.6) = 0.795*17.4 = 13.8 so it checks out.

The only thing to double check is whether you entered the correct tees. It looks like you entered your score using the white tees. If you actually played a different set, the math would be incorrect. Hope this helps.

The course rating and slope are high. Looks like it is a tough course.
