  1. Not sure if this is the right forum... Buddy of mine and I would like to play in the event at Erin Hills. We are not highly skilled golfers though--upper teens handicaps and not long off the tee. Would we be overmatched in that, or is there a variety of skill levels? What tees would I expect to play there? 7000+ yards would not be fun on a tough course...

For Team Titleist events, we typically set the tee markers at approximately 6,300 yards. Players aged 65+ may move up one tee box, and ladies play from the forward tees.

The field is divided into flights based on skill level and Handicap Index, ensuring players compete against others of similar ability for a balanced and enjoyable experience. We welcome players of all skill levels to participate and, above all, have a great time!

I play in the events knowing my game is not really competitive but I still have a blast. It’s as much about seeing fellow TT members and laughing at the good shots, crying at the bad shots, and just hanging out with the gang. It also forces me to get to some courses I normally might not get to and add them to my “courses played” bucket list.

I'm looking forward to this event. This will be my first TT event. I did have my reservations on doing this, but from what I've read, these sound soo much fun to do, I couldn't pass it up. Much like you TNichols, I'm also a mid to upper teen handicapper, but couldn't pass up this opportunity. Hope to see a lot of you out there in July.

I'm really looking forward to this; it'll be my first TT event. As a mid to high teen handicapper, I was also wondering if I should do this, but after much thought, I couldn't pass up this opportunity. From what I read, these are soo much fun to be part of. I hope to see some of you there.

You guys will be fine. I was a little worried when I played my first event last fall but I was worrying for nothing. Once I met a few guys and got out on the course it was like playing at home with my buddies.
