I see the posts that many of you are actually getting to play golf. We have had record amounts of rainfall and storms in Cincinnati this April.  I have still not played my first round of 2011, and it is killing me. So, who is playing? Where is it dry enough to play? I may have to take a road (or canoe) trip somewhere dry. The forecasters are predicting by the end of the week we will have shattered the record for the all-time wettest month in Cincy. I have never gone this late in the year without playing, and I have a brand new set of AP2's that are very lonely.

    Hey Bill

Been playing, but its wet, occasionally the wind is calm, I'm an hr east of Lex. We're under constant flash flood warnings.

Sometimes I come up and play Friendly Meadows, not yet this year. FM seems like a course that can handle the rain better than most.

Oklahoma has had alot of rain, but the courses needed it.  Every course is very playable right now.

Just might have to play around a tornado or two.

    John:

I have heard of Friendly Meadows, but never played there. I live on the Westside of Cincy, but work in Batavia. I may have to check that one out. We have a lot of courses that are just saturated, and some are not even open. E-mail me if your coming this way an need a playing partner.

You said you are an "hour east of Lex". Are you near Morehead, by any chance?

yep thats the place. I guess you heard of us because we BEAT U of L

A friend lives on hole 9 of Legendary Run, sometimes we play LR and sometimes FM, he's a member of both.

My brother(non-golfer) lives next to KI in Mason.

Check you inbox, I sent a friend request a few months ago when you said you live in Cinci in a thread about where do you live.

On this board I don't know of any other way to communicate privately, since I don't know your e-mail and you probably don't want to put it out public.

Ouch. I've been out a couple of times here in New England. Hopefully those fairways will dry up for you real soon.

Don't come to Minnesota, at least not for the moment.  We're double-trouble:  cold and wet -- particularly, it seems, on the weekends.  I have a new 910 D2 that I've only been able to play 27 holes with so far.  Ten-day forecast finally has some mid- to upper 60's in it, but frequently with showers.  Ugh!!
