  1. Hi folks, can anybody recommend a course for a round, in early November, whilst family doing other things. I know about Copperhead but we not stay at the property so can’t play it. Many thanks

Belleair Country Club is the closest and has a great historic history as an original Donald Ross layout, now split into two 18-hole courses. They were doing a renovation so I am not sure the status of the course. If open, worth trying to see if you can get on as a guest. Good luck! I love the Clearwater Beach and Sand Key area.
  3. Not in Clearwater, but if you’re ever close to Destin, The Raven is an unbelievable course to play. Went there this past year while on vacation and enjoyed every minute of it. Nice staff as well as a great course to play!

In the Clearwater area you have many choices to play. November will start the "Season" down here and you will see a jump in price. It really all depends on what you want to pay and how far you want to drive. All of these are slightly north of Clearwater around the Copperhead course.

Some places to take a look at are listed below. These are all either public or semi-private:

Dunedin Country Club, Fox Hollow, and Westchase are normally in excellent shape.
Cresent Oaks, Wentworth Golf Club, Eagles GC, Lansbrook, and Chi Chi's are good as well.

If you can get on you can always look to East Lake Woodlands CC, Countryside CC, and Cypress Run as good Private options.

Let me know if you have any questions on anything else in the area.

Thank you very much for the detailed reply. I have only time for the one round whist wife and daughter are at the aquarium. We are staying for the one night. I am sure with your list I will find something. If you could only play one of these that you could definitely get on, which one would you choose.
    Thanks
    Chris
