Not sure why anyone hasn't already posted about this event, but here's my review.

On arrival I was slightly concerned by the miz tour truck in the car park!

Welcomed by Will and Alistair in the clubhouse and received the usual gifts. Pro V1's or AVX, valuables pouch, bag tag and TT water bottle.

A catch up with fellow TT members from the past , and no so distance past before heading out to warm up.

Morning was 9 holes on the tight Channel course to get use to the wind, before 18 on the Championship after lunch. Both true links courses, out and back, so wind off the left out and off the right home.

Anyone who watched the Women's open would know the wind was challenging. Perhaps I should have taken the AVX's instead of Pro V1.

Post golf there was a food a prize giving before we all headed home.

As always a great event in great company. Now looking forward to St Ives in a couple of weeks.

Sorry about some of the pictures as holding the phone steady in the wind wasn't easy.

    Thanks for the photos Lads.

Another great trip organised by the TT staff and well done to all who made the journey!

Gutted I missed this one, but there will always be others.

Happy golfing lads and see you all at St Ives very soon.

    Happy golfing

It was a great day. The Channel course was at times possibly more brutal than the Championship. Although a 9 hole course, this is no par 3 warm up course. It required proper strategy to get close to pins and the greens were devilish if you were in the wrong place.
Unsurprisingly the Championship course was in super condition, coming only a few weeks after Open final qualifying. Warm weather, a proper breeze and even a bit of squally rain toward the end of the round.
Good to meet up with some old friends and lovely to make some new ones as well. Hopefully TT will be back to somewhere linksy next year as well.
