Typically, individuals who tend to pick the ball benefit from less bounce. However, this is also dependent on course conditions. Firmer conditions usually require less bounce while softer conditions usually require more bounce.

This is all player dependent and it is always best to see a local fitter and try the different bounce and grind options first.

Thanks Bubba for the quick response, looking for a new SW soon and I will keep it in mind.

I am also a "picker" and after trying a few wedges on the range, I found I did better with a mid to high bounce.  Even without taking much divot, I was still more consistent with a little more bounce than I thought.  However, for my SW (a club you would think you would want more bounce), I actually preferred a little less.  As a rule of thumb, if you are a "picker" on firm conditions, you would want less bounce.  But I would still try a few out just to make sure you don't get too little bounce.

My SW and LW combo now is a 54-11 (bent 1* strong) and a 58-06 (stock). 

I carried a 60-10 (bent 1* strong) for almost 2 years and would have to change my style from picking to digging on tight lies.  What prompted the change was the winter rains this year caused a lot of the bunkers in the area to get rock hard; this necessitated going to the 58-06.

I found there are many options for wedges if you need a men's club, but not so if you need one for a woman.   I recently added a lob wedge and when checking them out I found only two choices.   That is not brand choices... just two choices for loft and bounce!   Clvnd makes one for us ladies... 60 degrees with 12 degrees of bounce.   The other choice was a lob wedge I could order as a single club out of a set from another branch.   I'm more of a digger... but this gets me out of the sand in one try and a money club from 50 yards!

@Bobbi - not an off the shelf Vokey; definitely need to order one with the proper shaft on it. 

For the SW and LW Vokeys, I'm fine with off the rack but have the shaft bent upright 1/2* for the SW and 1* for the LW. 

I have my 50* wedge setup the same length and lie angle as my 54-11.  I got it used because I don't like modifying new clubs.

Clvnd does have a rather limited selection.   My wife is LH so I had to go to a clone company and have a 54 and 60 with something similar to DSG sole and L flex shafts.  It is hard to find clubs for LH women.  

A reshaft will cost you $17 for labor.  Grip about $6 or so.   Dynamic Gold shafts don't come in L flex but they are about $14 each.  True Temper Lite XL is $8 and isn't too bad of a shaft (I had a set of Eye 2 irons 3 years ago and they are a drop in replacement for ZZ Lite); it gives a high ball flight.
