  1. I have two old Vokeys in my bag and I was wondering if anyone could identify the models and/or age of the clubs in the attached image. Considering upgrading to a newer pre owned set (either 52/56/60 or 50/54/58, advice there is welcome also) but I'd like to know what I have first. Thanks in advance.

The 56.11 is a Spin MIlled Wedge (2008-2010)
    The 252.08 looks like a Vokey 200 Series (2000-2004).

I used to have the exact same 52 degree wedge (very good wedge, recently retired it for a new SM6 wedge). You need to supply us with your current set up and degrees of loft so we can help you determine your distance gapping. Typically vokey suggest 4-6 degrees of loft between wedges. I personally like 4 degrees of difference in my wedges

Do you play shorter courses where you need more wedges? How far do you hit the ball? how do you intend to play them?

for me I play a 48 degree vokey wedge as my pitching wedge, 52 gap wedge, and 56 sand wedge, I selected the bounces and intend to use those clubs as my scoring clubs (full shots to the green). I also have a 60 degree lob wedge for work around the green and bunker play. Hope this helps.

  3. They appear to be '09 Titleist Vokey Design Spin Milled Wedges, but it hard to tell for sure.

BTW, the Spin Mill has non-conforming groves. Only an issue in competition.

just to attempt to clarify Don's statement. 2024 is the first possible date that amateur golfers will need to have the new grooves to post scores for handicap purposes, unless you are a competitive player planning to play in U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur qualifiers.

I think Joshua M and Grant V nailed it. The 56-11 is a Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Tour Chrome '09 Wedge, and, the 252-08 is a Titleist Vokey 200 Tour Tumbled Wedge.
