  1. Just out of pure curiosity, do you play with the 50/54/58 degree wedges or 52/56/60?

I play 48.08 F grind (Pitching Wedge), 52.12 F grind (Gap Wedge), 56.08 M grind (Sand Wedge), and 60.08 M grind (Lob Wedge), SM6 vokey wedges in jet black finish.
  3. 50/54/58 however with my skill level I'm not sure I would notice any difference. Perhaps when I get better.....................

I play 50/54/58 because my AP2 PW is 48 degrees. Good gaping for my setup. The new AP3 PW is 43 deg so I would have to evaluate my wedge setup. Haven't been fitted yet so something to think about.

Grant: I play with Vokey 52/56/60 combination. I have just had this combination for several years and it seems to work for me.

48-54-60, I use them with a lot of 1/2 and 3/4 swings so I have a club or two for almost every yardage under 125 yds. It's a bit unconventional, I used to play 50-55-60 but it works fine

    I've had a 60 and I couldn't hit it far enough.

My 56 used to go high and short. Same as my 52.

With the AP3 PW at 43 - I have the similar 48/54/58. At my speed, the 5-6 degree gaps are still 10 yards apart on full and half swings. It all comes down to fitting for your distance gaps from your PW and using grinds matched to your swing and ground conditions.

    Actually neither, I use a 52 degree 8 degree bounce F grind and a 58 degree also 8 degree bounce M grind.

52/56/60, I tried playing just 54/60 but found I didn’t like using half or 3/4 swings to fit yardage gaps. With my 52/56/60 I have all my distances under control.

I play with a W2 AP1 which is 52°, and 56°/60° Vokey SM6s. Pretty good gapping for me.

    I play the 52.08 f / 56.08 m / 60 .08 m with a 47 degree can pitching wedge perfect gapping for me.

I switched to the AP3 so the PW at 43 I went 50 and 58, I need more help at the front end of the bag, just manipulate the 50 as need be.

As a senior golfer without the distance I used to have I play with a 50/56/60. I'm not looking for distance from my sand and lob wedge just control for the yardages I hit them.
  20. I play 52,56,60. Suits me great!

It's funny with most iron set new PW being 44,45 or 46, it seems a lot of players, even a bunch of tour players are going 50, 55 and 60 but for some reason titleist is one of the only vendors to not offer a 55. I guess it's easy to custom order a 54 or 56 bent to 55 but just strange other vendors have picked up on the trend while titleist has not yet. I wish they would, I love vokey wedges. Maybe with the new wedges supposably coming out in February.
  22. 48-54-60 plus the AP-1 PW. 2 degrees up and 1/2 longer than standard. I love the 60 for getting out of sand up close to the green -- lots of control and spin. Like the 10 degree bounce. The young pro at our club help me change over to this combo -- good advise. Vokey SM6's great clubs.
