  1. For the last 5 years I've had cally jaws md5 wedges in the bag I've got an 8* bounce c-grind for my lov wedge and I am ready to replace it with a vokey the question is what grind/grinds should I be looking at? I love having something that I can manipulate to hit different shots around the greens since I miss them so often Thanks!

M grind is the closest in Vokey. 8 degrees bounce with relief for manipulating the face.

I love the versatility of the M grind.

In the thumbnail, my wedges are 58V and 58-06K.

In the attached image are a 58-08M, 60-14K (58*) and a "local yokel" brand.

There's trade offs. 58M and 58-06K are close to equal but where the low-k wins is hard pan and wet sand. M is a bit better on open face shots.

K is slightly better than V in soft sand but the V is better off firm lies and open face shots on soft turf.

M grind vs V: V is better in soft sand but M does better on hard pan and flop shots.

For Torrey, M and K. For most courses, V and low K.

In addition to testimonials from users that haven’t played with you, consider taking the online wedge fitting tool available on the web site. If you are fully truthful in your responses, it will provide a good starting point. Not the same as a Titleist sponsored fitting, but a better online tool than most.
