Kimberly I couldn't agree more. I love that there is more of a push for girls to get in the game. I'm excited to see if my daughter (5) takes to the sport. Hopefully she catches the bug at the camps.

Girls had simulator practice tonight and killed it. They absolutely love the new irons. Gonna be a fun summer.

Thats great to hear. My kids 22/20 can't be bothered by the game, but they're using the amenities at my club. It might be too late to find interest in the game, it is hard.

I'm in a similar situation...both kids play golf but they're not as obsessed as me. I took up golf later in life. Both my kids have skills and I know at some point in their lives they'll look back at these opportunities and wish they spent a bit more time on the course

My boss started his career with Titleist out of college and now works for FJ, has an 8 year old son who is very talented and has given him every opportunity at soccer, golf, football, basketball and baseball. It seems he really excels in Baseball and football. Those are the two sports that he has chosen. Rick has not pushed or swayed him towards any sport. Only gave him support. Rick played college golf and they were national champions. As a child my father insisted that I play baseball, which I hated, because that is what he played. I believe in letting children make the choice, but support them and provide the resources. Love the clubs and wish them well. As Bobby Jones always said, he played it for the "love of the game".

I think some kids bloom later than others. I have twins also, but at 9 years old, some sports are coming slower than others and baseball seems to be their thing at the moment.

On a side note, when some of the Team Titleist Staffers found out I was having twins they sent us some onesies and junior Titleist hats. It’s little things like that that have kept me with the brand!

Any updates on how the girls did in their HS golf? They certainly were equipped nicely to play well and I hope they had a fun and productive season!

Love this discussion! I have a 29 yr old son and 25 year old daughter and my son has played since his freshman year of high school. I have my daughter who pretty much begged me to get her going when she was very young but my priorities were ALL messed up ( solely dedicated to my obsession with GOLF to a fault back in the day)! I feel very blessed now that both my kids are married and their spouses LOVE and play the game when ever they can (son lives in Chicago daughter lives in El Paso, TX) so I really now have the best of both worlds with my kids and their families we all play together(family vacations, visits, and whenever) I wish I would have paid more attention to my daughters wishes when she was younger like I did with my son because they both also are very talented with the sticks! They both along with their spouses keep this 55year old former golf professional very active in the game as a now senior citizen player LOL VERY VERY BLESSED!!!!!!

A passion that they will have for the rest of their lives!!! Awesome!!!

Golf is a great game for family time. Whenever I get the chance to play with my sons I jump at it. Granted, neither are as obsessed as me but I'll take what I can. If given the chance, run with it. Get the kids involved now for something they'll have forever.
