Your golf ball is the only equipment you use for every shot. So if you want to find the ball that performs best tee-through-green (and you should), the best place to do so is on a golf course. Maximizing driver distance with launch monitor testing only reveals which golf ball you hit the longest off the tee, and will not necessarily result in lower scores.
