The bounce of a wedge is determined by the bounce angle, sole width, sole camber and sole grind.
The key to good wedge play is selecting the proper bounce in your higher lofted wedges to match your swing type and the conditions in which you typically play.
Equally important is selecting the appropriate combination of gap, sand and lob wedges to provide you with the proper short game yardage gaps.
Choose wedges with medium bounce for versatility or choose wedges based on the typical course conditions in which you play. For firm conditions choose a wedge with less bounce. For soft conditions, choose wedges with more bounce.
Slider-Sweeper Tip: Consider having additional wedges available to vary your set composition based on the course conditions.

Created by master craftsman Bob Vokey to provide the finest combination of performance, craftsmanship and Spin Milled technology.
Each design is based on Bob’s experience working with the best players in the world. Vokey Design wedges have been #1 on the PGA Tour since 2004.
The profile for each wedge has been precisely created using CAD to perfectly blend the size, shape and offset from loft to loft.
During the development process, each sole was hand ground by Bob based on his experience making wedges for the best players in the world.
The face on each wedge is machined perfectly flat before the grooves and face texture are precisely milled.
A tighter edge radius and steeper draft angle with maximum depth provide 30% more groove volume.
Milled micro-edges provide additional gripping power for more spin, particularly on partial shots.
Superior feel and sound for the touch and distance control required to execute short game shots with precision.
