I.K. Kim Returns to Winning Form at ShopRite LPGA Classic

Titleist golf ball loyalist In-Kyung Kim (Pro V1) closed with a 2-under-par 69 to capture the ShopRite LPGA Classic by two shots.

Kim posted an 11-under-par 202 victory total en route to her fifth career LPGA Tour title.

Kim, who only needed 79 putts for the week on the Bay Course at Stockton Seaview Hotel and GC, won most recently at the 2016 Reignwood LPGA Classic. She spent the last half of 2016 and the beginning of 2017 recovering from a bad fall. Her start in New Jersey was only her sixth of the year.

“I really didn’t expect (to win) right away,”Kim said, “but I knew my game was better than last year. I just feel so good and I feel all the support.”

Kim topped a leaderboard on which eight of the 11 players who finished among the top 10 and ties relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.

Congratulations, I.K.!
