My best moment of 2011 was (finally) switching to a ProV1x and shooting back-to-back 74s with my dad on the courses I grew up playing. For a 7-handicap, it was a fantastic weekend.
My favorite memory of 2011 was shooting 7 strokes under my age. I am 82 and I shot a 75 from the gold or senior tees at my home club.
Hit the green on a 300 yard par 4 off the tee, then lipped out the eagle putt.
Shooting even par with and losing to my Dad who shot -1 on a course he used to beat his Dad on. Just being with him without a worry made it a great time. Oh and, we did not know how good we were playing until we finished the round.
